It was Friday morning,Dec.25th and my older sister Paige woke my brother Zach and I and said,”Wake up sleepy heads it’s Christmas.”

So my brother and I went downstairs to see the gifts.There were about 30 gifts!My brother,sister,and me all took turns opening gifts.My brother started and he got an Ipod Touch, so I knew that I must have got a really good gift.As the morning started going away I was sort of depressed because I haven’t got anything that was like really special, like the metal detector I wanted.

My brother and my sister had one more gift left and I had no gifts left,but when my sister and my brother both finished I saw my dad carrying something big.I was like,”Could it be?”So I opened the the gift really fast and there it was the metal detector.I was so glad that I gave my mom and dad a big hug and said,”Thank you!”Then I got the metal detector together and went outside to play with it.That was one of my most memorable moment during the holidays.
